Starting with the production of clasps for tabi or traditional Japanese socks, Sumino Kogyo has recently been specializing in precision metal stamping. The company can handle any type of production, including for multiple products, large and small lots. Sumino Kogyo is currently producing 3,000 items, and is now attempting to obtain ISO-9002 certification. Sumino Kogyo obtained ISO-9002 certification in January 1998, ISO9001:2000 certification in November 2003, ISO14001 certification in August 2002 (migrated to 2015 version in 2018), and ISO/TS16949 certification in October 2008 (migrated to IATF16949 in 2017).
