Company PR

Under the motto of "More corrosion resistance (toughness) and shine to stainless steel," we, as a research-based company, have developed and popularized a neutral salt electrolysis burn removal method for removing weld burns on stainless steel without using toxic or deleterious chemicals. We have also developed a surface modification method called "Ultra Passivation," which is effective in preventing pitting corrosion, a drawback of stainless steel, and stress corrosion cracking, which is the most feared problem in various types of plants made of stainless steel. These technologies won the "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award" at the 8th Monodzukuri Nippon Grand Awards in January 2020. Prior to this, the company was selected as a "Company Driving Regional Growth" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry at the end of 2017.
In addition, the company is currently expanding its business nationwide by providing ultra passivation treatment services for currently operating food machinery, chemical plants, and other equipment and facilities.

Technology Employed
Chemical industry
* Remove burns associated with welding of stainless steel and rust on stainless steel with an electrolytic method. Partial electropolishing and modification is also possible.
Chemical industry
* Anyone can nondestructively distinguish the alloy components included in stainless steel such as nickel and chrome.
Chemical industry
* Allows anyone to identify nondestructively the existence and strength of passivated layer on stainless steel surfaces at the given site.
Chemical industry
* Anyone can nondestructively distinguish SUS316 and the antibacteria stainless steel containing copper.
Primary Area of Technical Expertise

Surface cleaning technology such as removal of welding burns, rust and dirt on stainless steel, and decontamination of radioactively contaminated metal parts.
・Simple discrimination technology for stainless steel grade and passivation degree of stainless steel.
・Ultra-passivation technology that is dramatically improves the corrosion resistance of stainless steel and is effective in removing stress corrosion cracking of stainless steel.

Future Technical Challenges
Chemical industry
New technology for the relevant industries in order to expand the use of our products from our current focus of the welding industry into other industries in which stainless steel products are used.
