- Ferro- or copper parts of oilless oil-impregnated bearings for office automation machines/equipment
- Sintered gears for currency handling machines such as automatic teller machines (ATM)
- Parts made of sintered stainless steel for food-related machines
- Filters and silencers made of sintered stainless steel or copper
Major Customers
- Sadoshima Co., Ltd.
- ASAHI SHOJI CORPORATION
- IZAWA METAL
- Sato Shoji Corporation
- Asahi Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.
Technology Employed
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- We supply iron, stainless steel, and copper-based sintered products of many different types in small batches.
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- Sintered products are treated with black oxide finish (blackening) as rust-prevention, and coated with molybdenum film to decrease sliding resistance.
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- We can offer finished products as we can machine, turn, and grind (polish/buff) our sintered products, processing of which is considered difficult.
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- We are experienced in producing various types of stainless steel or copper filters and silencers to which sintering technologies are applied.
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- For in-process and shipping inspection of products, inspection equipment and measuring instruments are calibrated strictly in accordance with the calibration management standard.
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- When chemical component analysis is necessary for products, the analysis is promptly performed in cooperation with the Industrial Technology Center
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- Data on the strength of sintered materials can be provided as we have in-house testing equipment and data collecting system.
Primary Area of Technical Expertise
We have succeeded to create the shape of projecting sticks (rods) by our own sintering technologies though it is difficult to form the shape by sintering. We can offer products perfectly meeting your needs as we have technologies to form shapes that are hard to form; by dividing the shape into parts and then bonding by sintering, whether the material is iron or stainless steel. We have applied our original warm compaction technology for sintering of high-strength materials, a process generally considered to be highly difficult, in order to create high-density, high-strength sintered products.
Also supports high-mix low-volume production.
Future Business Challenges
- Supplying low-cost products meeting customers’ needs by collaborating with customers from the early stages of product development
- Establishing energy-saving technologies for ships by applying and utilizing the technologies of sintered filters
- Development of sintering technologies for special new materials in addition to the existing sintering technologies of metal powders
Future Technical Challenges
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- Development of products using new materials by applying sintering technologies
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- Establishing CIM systems allowing integrated control of production and quality of parts by further utilizing computers
- Transportation machinery/equipment manufacturing industry
- Technologies of warm sintering that allow us to produce sintered goods as strong as machined steel products
