We are a small but capable research and develop company that has continued to develop new products that remove weld burn, rust or taint from the surface of stainless steel with an electrolytic method using environmentally-friendly harmless solution rather than conventional toxic substance with the “corrosion resistance (strength) and glitter with stainless steel" as our motto, and has finally succeeded in putting a surface modification method called “ultra passivation” to practice. Ultra passivation is a silver bullet in dramatically reducing the so-called fatal disadvantage of stainless steel, “pitting corrosion by chlorine,” and in preventing stress corrosion cracks (SCC).
We have launched a business to perform ultra passivation processing in our new “Create Center.” We are also promoting this technology to plants in the Setouchi area recommending them to adopt it to prevent SCC in operating chemical plants or other facilities or for maintenance in the periodic repair. We have also received good field test results.
For our result these days, SUS316L which was used for pasteurizer for noodles soup under extreme condition, such as salt concentration of about 5% and temperatures in 90~120 °C had corrosion in about 5 hours. By our ultra passivation processing, this SUS316L has been corrosion proof and prevented corrosion for up to four and half years.
